AI sex chat: which of these does it well
SpicyChat on its True Supporter tier, Secrets AI, GirlfriendGPT on its Deluxe and Elite plans and Nastia AI are the four NSFW AI chat apps on this page that handle a sustained adult scene without breaking it, and they do it for different reasons. Nastia because the model was built for it and there is no toggle to find; SpicyChat because the 8,192-token context and Semantic Memory 2.0 on the $19.95 tier stop the character forgetting the setup halfway through; Secrets AI because the memory system is visible, the companion keeps a consistent voice, and the more permissive S4 mode on Ultimate exists for people who want the platform to stop hedging; GirlfriendGPT because its premium models write long, in-character replies and the 16K context and editable memory on Elite keep a plot straight. Candy AI and OurDream AI are the picks when the scene needs pictures: Candy AI for the most polished single image, OurDream AI for images and video of the same character on the plan you already pay for. Kindroid and Nomi will take a scene there but write it with a lighter hand and steer back toward the relationship, which is either the feature or the bug depending on why you opened the app.
What separates a good adult chat from a bad one, in my scripts, is never the vocabulary. It is three mechanical things. First, reply length: SpicyChat caps replies at 180 tokens on Free and Get a Taste and CrushOn.ai caps them at 225 to 325 characters depending on plan, which turns a slow-burn scene into a series of text messages; Kindroid, Nastia and Secrets AI let the companion write a paragraph. Second, whether the filter interrupts: on Kalon AI the sliders you set are the filter, so nothing fires unexpectedly; on Joyland (not on this list) the filter fires on tame scenes constantly. Third, memory inside the scene: the free and cheap tiers of SpicyChat and CrushOn.ai lose the established details after fifteen to twenty exchanges, which users report constantly and my long-roleplay script hit too.
Character source matters more than people expect. SpicyChat and CrushOn.ai are libraries: tens of thousands of user-made characters, most of them built for adult roleplay, which means you can find a scenario in minutes and also means the character’s personality is somebody else’s definition. GirlfriendGPT (around 29,000 characters) and OurDream AI (a public library of over 11 million) are libraries with a deep builder attached. Nastia, Kindroid, Nomi, Kalon and Uncensy are builders: you define the companion, which takes twenty minutes and produces something that does not feel borrowed. Secrets AI and Candy AI sit in between with curated characters plus a custom option. If you want variety, start with a library; if you want one relationship that goes somewhere, start with a builder.
Where the top NSFW AI chat apps differ in an adult scene
SpicyChat’s strength is choice: on True Supporter you pick from over twenty models, and switching model mid-conversation changes the tone more than any setting does. Its weakness is that below $19.95 the memory is a 4,096-token window, which is the same on Free and on the $5.95 plan. Candy AI’s strength is the image, the most polished realistic visuals in the category with unlimited text on every paid plan; the thing to plan for is the 100 tokens a month that meter everything visual. OurDream AI’s strength is the bundle, with chat, images, video and voice calls drawn from one balance at published rates; its classifiers can flag a safe prompt, and rephrasing clears it. GirlfriendGPT’s strength is control, with a character sheet of up to 2,500 tokens and a memory you can edit; its uncensored chat sits on the Deluxe plan. CrushOn.ai’s strength is that the filter is the loosest here and the library is built for it; its weakness is terse replies and a busy interface. Nastia’s strength is the group chat and the total absence of hedging; its weakness is a memory window that drops the boundary you set last week. Secrets AI’s strength is consistency and discretion; its weakness is that the good stuff lives on the $39.99 tier. Kindroid and Nomi are the ones to pick if the scene is a chapter in a longer story rather than the whole book.
Free AI sex chat: what you can realistically get
Free adult chat exists on most of the twelve NSFW AI chat apps here, but it is rationed differently on each, and the ration decides whether the free tier is a trial or a product. SpicyChat’s free tier is a product: about 100 messages a day with the filter fully off, at the cost of ads, short replies and a peak-hour queue. Nastia’s free tier is a product for text and a trial for everything else. Secrets AI’s 20 messages a day is a trial. Kindroid’s free tier became a preview on October 1, 2026: 50 interactions at paid quality, then read-only, so it is a trial and not a product. OurDream AI’s free account is a first conversation: 55 starter dreamcoins at one coin a message, with no card. GirlfriendGPT’s 20 messages in total are a look at the library, with adult chat on the paid plans. Candy AI’s signup trial lets you look around before the first month.

The honest summary: if you want free and adult, use SpicyChat off-peak or Nastia for text, accept the short replies, and do not expect the companion to remember anything past the current session. Every free tier on this list is designed to run out, and the ones that run out most gracefully (SpicyChat, Kalon, Nomi) are the ones that refill daily without asking for a card. Secrets AI, Swipey, OurDream AI and GirlfriendGPT use the free tier to show you what the paid tier looks like, which is useful for exactly that: a look around before the first month.
Freaky AI and ‘no filter’ claims: what the filters still block
No platform on this list has no filter, including the ones that put those words in the headline, and the ones that come closest are the ones I would be most careful with. SpicyChat’s community guidelines, among the most detailed on this page, ban content involving minors, non-consensual scenarios (incest and family roleplay are named), real people used as chatbots or in deepfakes, photorealistic explicit imagery, sexual content combined with violence, sex trafficking, and self-harm, with immediate account termination for the serious categories. Candy AI’s terms have zero tolerance for anything involving minors and forbid commercial use. Uncensy’s terms, dated the day I checked, ban minors, harassment, impersonation and bots. Nastia and Kalon publish age-verification and compliance pages. ‘Uncensored’ in this category means one specific thing: adult fiction between consenting adult characters is allowed without the refusals a general-purpose assistant would produce. It does not mean the platform will write anything, and an app that suggests otherwise is telling you something about its moderation.
What ‘no filter’ means on each app
The mechanics differ. SpicyChat and CrushOn.ai let creators tag characters NSFW and let users hide or blur them from Profile Settings, so the filter is a browsing preference plus a hard rule set underneath. Kalon AI makes the filter a set of consent sliders with a PG-13 default, which is the most transparent design here. Nastia and Uncensy have no toggle at all and rely on the rules in the terms. Kindroid and Nomi have no toggle either but their models write adult content with restraint, which users sometimes mistake for a filter. Secrets AI stages it by plan: the more permissive S4 mode is an Ultimate feature. GirlfriendGPT stages it by plan too, listing uncensored chat as a Deluxe feature, with a proprietary filter plus human review behind the hard rules. OurDream AI enforces its rules with classifiers that the help centre says can flag safe content; the notice names the reason and rephrasing in plainer words clears it. On every one of them, the boundary test in my scripts found the hard rules enforced, and outside OurDream’s occasional flag it did not find the tame-scene false positives that make Joyland and Character.AI frustrating.
Why two ‘no filter’ names are not on this list
Muah AI and Dreemy both rank for ‘freaky AI’ and ‘no filter’ searches, and I left both out on purpose. Muah AI suffered a breach on September 17, 2024 that exposed 1.9 million email addresses together with users’ chat prompts; the leak included tens of thousands of prompts describing abuse of minors, the data went into extortion campaigns, and the app was removed from Google Play. It now sells VIP at $19.99 a month or $69.99 a year with higher tiers at $499 and $999 a year, and nothing on its pages addresses training or retention in a way I could grade. Dreemy publishes no prices at all on its home page (an ‘Upgrade Pro+’ button, no numbers), requires no signup, and advertises ‘cloth remover’ tools, which is a product I am not going to send a reader to. Regulators have noticed the category: the FTC issued 6(b) orders to seven companion-chatbot companies in September 2025 asking how they monetise engagement, use conversation data and restrict age. None of the twelve platforms above received one, but the questions are the same ones I ask, and the answers are in the safety section and the privacy scorecard.
